A Memorial Gift Donation is a thoughtful way to remember a special person in your life, while at the same time helping others. Your tax-deductible donation supports PIP’s mission to provide hope and help to individuals and families who are afflicted by the disease of alcoholism and drug dependence.
Making a donation in commemoration of a person’s special occasion (recovery anniversary date, birthday, graduation or special anniversary, etc.) is a meaningful way to honor a friend, family member, relative or colleague. Your tax-deductible donation supports PIP’s mission to provide hope and help to individuals and families who are afflicted by the disease of alcoholism and drug dependence.
What your donation does for…
The Education Department:
$10 – provides educational materials for a student participating in an evidence-based prevention program
$25 – feeds a family in need participating in a Strengthening Families parenting workshop
$50 – allows us to keep our referral call line staffed for a day
$100 – covers the cost to have an educator receive CPR training
$250 – feeds two families in need for an entire cycle of Strengthening Families parenting workshops
$400 – covers all costs for 25 participants to receive an evidence-based education class
The Hudson County Coalition:
$10 – provides workbooks or training materials for coalition workshops
$40 – pays for materials for our youth activities and monthly coalition meetings
$75 – pays for media campaign printing such as 911 hold harmless cards, flyers and information to students and parents at health fairs, etc.
$ 500 – covers the cost of media coverage to promote Prescription Drug Take Back Days, and pays for knowledgeable presenters to provide the coalition members and community current information on various prevention topics
$1000 – pays for our annual Town Hall Meeting and prescription drop box disposal
$2500 – covers a portion of the cost for various Underage drinking and prescription drug media campaigns such as bus shelters, screenvision, newspaper ads
$3000 – covers the cost for the Coalition to host a Techniques of Alcohol Management Training
$4000 – covers a portion of the cost for various Underage drinking and prescription drug media campaigns such as bus/rail car advertisements and billboards
The Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute:
$15 – pays for custom training materials
$75 – gives 1 student 1 day at the LMTI College Track Conference
$200 – pays for 5 months of training for our Youth Staff
$375 – gives 1 student the LMTI College Track experience
$600 – gives 1 student LMTI Summer Leadership Conference Experience
$1,500 – provides t-shirts for the LMTI Summer Leadership Conference
$3,000 – gives a group of 5 students the LMTI Summer Leadership Conference Experience
