Jackie Gilloon Memorial Fund

Our student-athlete support initiatives would not be possible without the amazing support of the Jackie Gilloon Memorial Fund.

Jackie Gilloon (Memorial High School ‘75) played point guard for the Memorial High School Tigers, leading the team to the Hudson County championship in 1973. After an illustrious career playing college basketball for the USC Gamecocks, he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and later played professionally in Argentina. Jackie returned to West New York to give back to his community as a teacher and coach for many years.

Jackie’s passion for the game and commitment to excellence were unparalleled, and as a true hometown hero, he inspired generations of student-athletes to be their best both on and off the court. To honor Jackie’s legacy, his friends, fans, and family have organized the Jackie Gilloon Memorial Fund, in partnership with Partners in Prevention, to continue providing resources and programs to student-athletes throughout Hudson County.
